 It was evident at the age of 3 that I was meant to entertain. I would make my family sit and watch while I would sing and dance for them. Just having fun at my friend's wedding, I was approached by the DJ offering me an opportunity to entertain with his company!

2 Years later .....

I started Occasional Sounds!!Joe Joe Belasco

 Joe has been an entertainer for over 25 years! His unique style and sense of humor have made him a top DJ in the industry. I have worked with Joe at hundreds of events and watching him entertain never gets old. He never fails to make me and the guests laugh and put a smile on our faces. Joe has  motivational skills and experience that make him a wonderful part of my team. Joe is also an educational supervisor and a coach, he is wonderful with children.

           I am lucky to have been trained by him.....

 Bill Mejia

Bill has been part of the Occasional Sounds team since 1996. I know that whenever I leave the DJ booth to greet a guest, Bill will maintain the music. He knows how to feel the mood of the crowd and play the appropriate song for the moment. His warm and friendly energy always makes my clients and their guests feel comfortable. We work well together and are equally committed to a client's highest satisfaction.

 Following in his family tradition of entertaining, Joe Belasco Jr.  has been  with Occasional Sounds since he was 16. He specializes in Sweet Sixteens as well as Proms, Joey's talent and knowledge of all genres of music makes him a great addition to any event. His charisma is contagious and never goes unnoticed by the guests.

Our entertainers are professionally trained and have many years experience as DJ's and MC's, performing at countless events from weddings at The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, to parties at The Statue of Liberty and New Years Eve at The World Trade Center in NY. We are friendly, professional and very courteous. We will have your guest leaving wanting more!!
